About Berger Learning Group
The Berger Learning Group, LLC, is a private ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) center in Northern New Jersey serving children, ages 15 months to 16 years, with autism, developmental delays and behavioral challenges. The Group’s director, Diane Berger, MA, BCBA, is a board certified behavior analyst and certified special education teacher in New Jersey and New York. Behavioral services offered at the Berger Learning Group include supervision and coordination of home and school programs, parent training, positive behavior intervention plans, functional behavior assessments, as well as a reading comprehension program based on the Lindamood-Bell approach adjusted for children with autism and other delays. Cognitive skills, language/communication, play skills and social skills are addressed and strengthened through one-to-one ABA/VB instruction as well as weekly group sessions. Self-help skills such as toileting, dressing and self-feeding along with management of problem behaviors are also a major focus of the Group.
