About Bernardo Winery
Welcome to Bernardo Winery! We're a family owned and operated winery located in North County San Diego. Established in 1889, Bernardo Winery is the oldest winery in Southern California, owned and operated by the Rizzo family since 1927. We are a full production winery, sourcing San Diego grapes and producing our wine onsite. Our tasting room is open Wednesday through Sunday for wine tasting and wine by the glass and bottle. The Kitchen Restaurant serves rustic Italian fare such as fresh pastas and pizza made from scratch, using fresh local ingredients. Besides wine and food, we have a village of shops and galleries as well as a coffee roaster, with their unique products and services. Bring the whole family to explore our historic winery in San Diego, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Bernardo Winery is open Wednesday through Sunday, Closed Monday and Tuesday. Don't miss our Farmer's Market every Friday 9-1 Please note, no pets are permitted on the winery grounds. Event venues available for events of all sizes.
