Children's Clinical University Hospital (VSIA Bērnu klīniskā universitātes slimnīca) is the largest specialized multidisciplinary children’s medical treatment institution in Latvia. Approximately 15,000 patients receive medical care in the in-patient clinic every year, whereas the outpatient clinic (polyclinic) provides more than 300,000 appointments. The hospital provides state-paid medical services for children in outpatient (polyclinic, multi functional building) and inpatient emergency, acute, and planned care, and also offers paid services. The medical technologies used and treatment results correspond to the results of EU countries. Both hospital facilities provide access to health care services for people with disabilities.
