About Beson Education

Beson is an international educational services company. We develop close and powerful relationships with our Chinese high school students and their families, serving as their most trusted advisors and mentors. Our students sign on to our personal development programs that range from one year to four years, enabling us to work on producing deep transformations within them that amplify their potential to navigate the world around them. Beson is a startup founded by Feng Wei, Rui Liu, and Nathaniel Toppelberg. Feng is the founder and CEO of a leading executive coaching and management consulting firm in Beijing. Rui is the president of an SaaS firm in Beijing. Nathaniel is an entrepreneur focused on unleashing human potential and has been coaching young people around the world to connect with their highest purpose for over nine years. Our purpose is to help our students cultivate the resources they need to connect with their highest purpose so that they can harness their natural talents and lead authentic lives. Our programs help students develop key tools towards this end, including critical thinking, cultural intelligence, social and emotional skills, mindfulness and personal insight. In many cases, before students are ready to live authentically, they need to first dismantle the oppressive systems that surround them as well as the ways that they have internalized those systems. For this reason, we're looking for individuals who share our commitment to liberatory education (aka critical pedagogy, anti-oppression, compassionate inquiry) and have the curiosity and emotional sensitivity to explore how these principles apply in diverse and constantly unfolding cultural landscapes.
