About Best Buddies Minnesota

Best Buddies Minnesota, a state chapter of Best Buddies International, is dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across Minnesota. The Best Buddies Minnesota state office was founded in 2020. There are 40 Best Buddies Friendship Program chapters in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and colleges across Minnesota, a thriving Citizens program engaging adults with and without IDD in one to one friendships in the Twin Cities, and a dynamic Ambassadors program providing public speaking and self advocacy training for individuals with and without IDD throughout the year.
