Best Fabrics International specialize in Dress fabrics, Material for Schools & Colleges, Bridal Fabrics, Costume, Dance, Theatre, Curtains, upholstery and Haberdashery. It all started in 1969 when Hisham (Bob) started a specialized export house to cater for the demands of International Clients for fine British Worsted Pure new Wool Fabrics sourced from some of the finest weavers in the famous Yorkshire town of Huddersfield. Our first offices were on the first floor of 21 Victoria Street in the centre of Nottingham. Although we were without a High street front some of the Nottingham crowd of designers and fashion seamstresses managed to discover us as they stumbled on a quantity of super fine worsted suitd many more. In 2005, we set up a shop within eBay (myfabricplace), which proved to be a huge success. We shipped to the 5 continents. Many of our customers, even the ones living close by, asked us to set up a website to facilitate their purchases and to be able to see the wider range. This led us to open our first web site as we felt the time was right to provide an on-line service with a secure site so that customers may choose at their leisure from our now extensive range of fabrics.
