About BEST Skills Academy

BEST Skills Academy is a private middle school and high school learning center in Greenville, South Carolina, committed to helping students succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally. We serve students in grades 6–8 through a unique model that integrates formal mentoring with academic instruction. Our high school learning center supports students enrolled in virtual programs by providing daily in-person guidance and mentorship. With a 1:10 instructor-to-student ratio, our students receive the individualized attention they need to grow. In addition to core subjects, we provide 180 hours of structured mentoring annually, covering personal development, financial literacy, civic responsibility, and career readiness. Our approach is trauma-informed and community-centered. Many of our students face challenges related to identity, family instability, and academic disengagement. We create a safe space where students can begin to heal, learn, and thrive. We partner closely with families, mentors, and community leaders to give students every opportunity to succeed.
