About BeTech

BeTech is the bottom-up, entrepreneur-driven movement, boosting a strong knowledge, cohesion and network effect to nurture the entrepreneurial mindset in Belgium. For the past years BeTech has been on the frontline of entrepreneurship in Belgium. We have set up and organised the BeTech Community Group, BeTech First Tuesdays, BeTech Remotes, BeTech Circles, BeTech Year-end Parties, ...to foster, embrace and promote entrepreneurship. We all know that being an entrepreneur is hard, but for too long being a Belgian entrepreneur is even more challenging. We believe we can do even more to help Belgium and its entrepreneurs be as successful as our neighbours. We know that this goal will not be achieved by a subsidised entity, governed by a region or the state, but rather by a bottom up initiative, by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. Now is the time to change this. With BeTech’s people-centric approach towards entrepreneurs - this new generation of entrepreneurs working hard every day on which will result in the next boom of our economy - already a younger generation is presenting themselves to follow our steps, becoming as or even more passionate by technology and entrepreneurship as ourselves. It shows the roots of a true entrepreneurial climate in Belgium being formed, though the path in catching up with other regions will still be long. To accomplish our joint ambition, we need your support and contribution. A stronger and larger BeTech is only possible when everyone could and should be(come) an involved BeTecher! To maintain, sustain and grow BeTech, beyond generations. For this the foundations have been made to turn BeTech into a philanthropic association.
