About Better Living Together

Better Living Together was co-founded in 2016 by Tim and Beate Sass. We are a nonprofit working to facilitate innovative, affordable, and accessible housing solutions where people with and without disabilities live and thrive together. While we are focused on our state, Georgia, Better Living Together collaborates with mission-aligned organizations throughout the country. We envision accessible communities where inclusion of all abilities is interwoven into the fabric of daily life. Better Living Together's Core Values: Community - We believe that everyone should have access to a safe space in which to live, love, work and play, where people care about each other and share authentic friendships. Responsibility - We believe that each individual’s contribution to the community ensures the well-being of the greater whole, and each individual plays a role in promoting and protecting the rights of each other. Respect - We believe that every person deserves to be treated with kindness and to live within a culture of tolerance, compassion, and appreciation. Diversity - We believe that each of our lives is enriched through new experiences and relationships that honor and embrace the range of humanity, including differences in ability.
