About Better World Foundation

Better World is the first totally student initiated NGO in the Middle East region, Better World aims to brighten the futures of Egypt’s underprivileged youth through the development of technological literacy, world languages and life skills. With a balanced volunteerism of 50% Egyptians and 50% Internationals, we were able to create a better environment for cultural exchange. Since its establishment in 2006, Better World has trained more than 5000 Egyptian youth, arming them with the tools that can change their quality of work and their quality of life. In order for us to continue making a difference in the lives of thousands, we are looking forward to have a diversity of backgrounds. The Better World Foundation was established to help the Egyptian youth advance in the critical areas of academia and technology. Through experienced volunteers, high-quality equipment, and established methods, Better World is changing the professional outlook for hundreds of Egyptians every year by teaching world-languages, international skills, and proactive attitudes. We currently offer services to thousands of public university students and recent graduates. With our balanced organizational membership (50% Egyptian and 50% foreign), we offer youth a multi-national and interdisciplinary experience that provides opportunities for fruitful inter-cultural relations. Mission: Better World aims to prepare the young people of Egypt for success in the modern professional world through the development of technological literacy, life and occupational skills, and by providing ongoing employment support. Vision: For Egypt’s youth to have a competitive advantage, making them active and equally valuable members in today’s global community of professionals.
