Bettii exists to make women's lives easier, every day. We focus on education, information and innovation. We spot gaps in women's healthcare and we work hard to plug them. We're currently working on two main passions: Bettii Presents and the Bettii menstrual cup and disc cleaner. Bettii Presents: Scotland’s first ever medically led women’s health event. This groundbreaking day will deliver myth-busting, practical, whole body health content led by top medical, fitness and nutrition experts. Our focus is helping women better understand and manage their health at every life stage. With over 20 specialist led sessions and 30 dedicated stalls, held in the stunning Engine Works in Glasgow’s West End, this is a day out that no woman should miss. The rate of sales of period reusables has now overtaken that of disposables. Health, environment, cost, choice. Period cups and discs are surging in popularity worldwide. Multiple reports have cited the presence of toxic metals and chemicals in tampons with no research being discussed regarding the potential impact. Women want better. Whilst toxic chemicals and metals exist in our everyday environment, they are not inserted internally for hours on end, they do not leave fibres behind when removed and they are not in an area of the body where their absorption directly enters the bloodstream, bypassing the body’s detoxification systems. Women are concerned that tampons pose a significant health risk. We think women should be made aware of their choices and enabled to use them. Bettii removes the barrier of how to wash your menstrual cup or disc when out and about. She allows you to clean your product, ready to reuse quickly and privately.
