Founder and CEO, Jaye Mosby, Esq, became a NICU Angel Mom when her premature son gained his wings at 5 weeks young. Prior to this, she struggled with IVF, infertility, and numerous miscarriages. She birthed her clothing boutique, EmHerSon Boytique (named after her now 9yr. old son), being affected by the lack of proper clothing options for NICU babies and a lack of support for NICU mothers in Shelby County, TN. EmHerSon Boytique’s provision now includes apparel and accessories for preemie to preteen boys with some unisex items. According to the National Center for Health Statistics' final natality data, weekly in the U.S. over 7,000 babies are born preterm (less than 37 weeks of pregnancy) and over 1,000 babies are born very preterm (less than 32 weeks of pregnancy). Once realizing her mission was more profound than selling clothing, she founded Beyond the Medical Practice. Beyond the Medical Practice was developed for Pediatricians, OB/GYNs, and Public Health leaders committed to serving mothers and children affected by preterm birth beyond medicine.
