About BFS Enterprise (Fabrications)

Formed in 1979 BFS Enterprise (Fabrications) Limited (BFS) manufacture bespoke structural steel fabrications for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, and Renewables industries. The business is brimming with a loyal and dedicated workforce who have cumulatively amassed hundreds of years of fabricating expertise. Trading from a modern 23000 square foot facility in Suffolk adjacent to the most Easterly point of the UK, we are perfectly situated to serve our customers by land or sea alike. With over 35 years’ experience in the industry BFS are able to cater for any type and configuration of structure. This could be anything from manageable bench work up to 40 tonne pre assembled units (PAU’s). All aspects of the manufacturing and fabrication process are here on site or literally a few miles away using our long established supply chain partners for materials, NDE, load testing, and painting. On completion of projects our logistics team arrange transportation of finished goods the length and breadth of the country. From the very early days of the business there has been a focus on Quality and delivery. As far back as 1987 the company introduced its first Quality Management System (QMS) based around the standard BS 5750. Following introduction and implementation into the business the system was duly audited by third party accreditation body Lloyds Register Quality Assurance and formally approved. This system progressed and migrated into ISO 9001 QMS, and has more recently been integrated with the Construction Products Regulations (more often referred to as CE marking) QMS standard EN 1090-1.
