About Bgi Global
BGI GLOBAL (Former Balms Group International) was founded in 1996 by Balms Abogados and Black & Graf Co, constituting the first international organization of independent medium-sized Hispanic-English law firms. The philosophy of BGI and its very raison d’être, are based on the international vocation of its members and on the absolute conviction that it is essential to cross boundaries and expand our knowledge and practice in order to provide more and better services to our customers. With the increasing globalization of business, it is imperative that lawyers be in a position to be able to meet the needs of their customers internationally. However, in many cases globalization can prevent small and medium-sized firms in other countries from providing the same level of service that customers receive in their own country. BGI GLOBAL has found the solution by integrating a series of independent and medium-sized law firms, in different jurisdictions and / or countries on five continents, companies who share the same spirit and a common international vocation, brought together under the BGI logo. When the need arises to intervene in a case, clients can be referred to BGI members located in the relevant jurisdiction or requested country. When a supranational case emerges, the BGI firms involved are able to work closely together on the matter. In both cases it is absolutely essential that the client be able to trust the lawyers and professionals handling the case.
