About BH Events and Experiences
It is Brian’s absolute love of sport which inspired him to set up BH Events. His particular passions are rugby and cricket, well he is from South Africa! In fact, he is so passionate about all the elements of sport; the team spirit, working together as a team towards a shared goal, the hard work and dedication, not forgetting the fun and charitable side of playing sport, that provided the platform for this new and exciting project. BH Events is not just any events Company. Its uniqueness is Brian – with his vast extent of expertise in hosting sporting events, his knowledge and experience, outgoing personality and relationships with so many top sportsmen and women which have allowed him to successfully host and organise countless sporting events over the past 15 years. To date these have included the biggest rugby 7’s tournament in South Africa in 1993 and 1994, and the Dendermonde and Stockholm 10’s rugby tournaments (two of the biggest 10’s in Europe). But his specialities are hosting sportsmen’s testimonials! Famous names include Richard Cockerill, Darren Garforth, Graham Rowntree, Leon Lloyd, Lewis Moody and Geordan Murphy. Testimonials supported in 2011 included James Simpson Daniel (Gloucester rugby),Harry Ellis (Leicester Tigers) and Mike Powell (Glamorgan cricket). Brian has recently worked with RWC captains Martin Johnson, John Smit and Siya Kolisi.
