Welcome to BHC Technology. We are a technical consultancy specialising in Research and Development (R&D) tax credits. R&D tax credits are a government incentive designed to reward UK companies for investing in innovation. They are a valuable source of cash for businesses to invest in accelerating their R&D. There will be 5 steps to the process: Step 1 - Initial Consultation - identifying the R&D element to the business. Note we have not had one client that we have turned away, by its own definition everyone undertakes R&D within their businesses. Step 2 – Project Narrative – Once the R&D element is established we write the narrative for the advance in knowledge or capability in a field of science or technology that is sought as R&D. Failed projects also qualify if the advance has not been achieved. Step 3 – Cost Information – We work with our clients to gather the cost information and ascertain all legible claimable costs. Step 4 – Filing the Claim – BHC will file the claim to HMRC on your behalf along with all supporting information to maximize the best return for your business. Step 5 – HMRC will then process the claim within 4-16 weeks and a credit on your corporation tax or a cheque payment will be made. To date we have had 100% success rate.
