Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho serves the Treasure Valley by providing mentors to children who benefit from a caring adult role model -- a dependable friend who can help expand their horizons, realize their potential and enrich their futures--changing their lives. Spending time one-to-one, our volunteer mentors provide friendship, emotional support and hope to the young people they are matched with, giving the child the invaluable gift of friendship by simply spending time one-to-one with them. We have seen the results in improved confidence and mental health, avoidance of risky behaviors, increased resilience, and better achievement in school. Our vision is that all youth would reach their full potential.
