Formed in 2007, Big City Entertainment, Inc. is a Creative Arts and Animation company which focuses on the development of original intellectual properties which can be used in the form of film, television, comics, graphic novels, games and more. The mission of BCE is to create high quality entertainment products that inspires all ages. Its flagship property is the critically acclaimed comic book series entitled, Brotherman: Dictator of Discipline, originally published by the now defunct Big City Comics, Inc. Brotherman Comics was created and illustrated by Dawud Anyabwile and co-created and written by his sibling Guy A. Sims. It initially was launched at the Black Expo Trade show in April 1990 and is recognized as a catalyst to the contemporary independent Black Comic book movement.
