About Big Shock
History 1992 – our company is founded under the name "Al-Namura for trading", wins exclusive representation in the Czech Republic of the company Ahmad Tea London and imports its first two kinds of tea 1993 – the first employee is taken on board, the range of teas is extended to four, dealers are contracted, and sales outside of the capital city area are started 1994 – exclusive representation in the Czech Republic of the company Panex for sales of maple syrup, four dealers are employed on a permanent basis, and the first contract with a first chain , "k markt", is entered into 1995 – the first kind of Mr. Brown ice coffee is imported, the tea range is further extended, sales in Pronto (later renamed to Julius Meinl) and other chains, such as Vít, are started 1996 – the company is transformed to Al-Namura, spol. s r.o. 1997-2001 – the Company enters into business relationships with chains Tesco, Lekkerland, Pronto plus, Delvita, Spar, Makro, Carrefour, Penny, Globus and Kaufland; later was added Ahold was added, and the Company's size increases to more than over 20 employees. 2002 – the Company builds new warehouses and its own logistic centre in Kralupy nad Vltavou 2003 – the Company starts its own production of the Big SHOCK! energy drink and introduces it on the market 2004 – as of January 1, the Company headquarters are moved to a newly-built site in Kralupy nad Vltavou and its focus goes from selling to retail vendors to wholesalers and chains 2007 – cooperation is started with the Dutch company Bavaria; the Company wins exclusive representation in sales of Bavaria non-alcoholic beer, whose parameters go beyond the commonly sold non-alcoholic beers 2008 – the Company begins distribution of two more well-established brands: Pringlers Chips, whose manufacturing technology ensures a lower fat content than that of classical potato chips; and Dijon mustard Bornier, whose quality is well known all over the gourmet world.
