Established in August of 1999, Big Soul Productions Inc. is an award-winning Aboriginal owned and operated film and television production company based in Toronto ON, CANADA. Developing projects for live action, drama, animation, lifestyle and variety programming for broadcast and corporate clients, Big Soul also offers a wide range of media/production services and creative support including FCP editing, DVD authoring/duplication, design, photography, marketing/events and of course, writing and producing. The Gemini-Nominated dramatic series, "Moccasin Flats" provides strong evidence of Big Souls production capability. The success of short films such as 133 Skyway demonstrates the effectiveness of their media and filmmaking workshops that have been organized in communities across the country. Big Soul has also exhibited a continuous commitment towards youth development through the filmmaking workshops that were developed with Big Souls PROJECT ONE GENERATION. In addition to live action filming, Big Soul Productions Inc. also operates fully functioning ANIMATION AND LAYOUT studios, utilizing the Emmy® award-winning network animation software, Toon Boom HARMONY. The current production of the 3rd Season of the ISTA FILMS III production "BY THE RAPIDS" demonstrates the consistent quality of our animators in combination with the Toon Boom Harmony software. Big Soul is proud to offer production services that feature our own RED camera and various digital HD production cameras, steadi-cam and cranes amongst other specialty equipment.
