Founded in 1998 with our very first store in Richmond upon Thames, we now have over 71,000 customers storing with us and employ over 450 people. We are listed on the FTSE 250 London Stock Exchange. Our Company Purpose is to ensure the hopes of people and businesses are never held back by a lack of space. Big Yellow also supports 160 local communities and local charities through the donation of storage space. In addition, the Big Yellow Foundation supports seven charities to help vulnerable adults get back into work. Money is raised from customer donations plus employee fundraising and Big Yellow match every pound donated.
