What does biink mean? Our name biink was derived from the slang term bink used to describe a ‘sharp dresser’ or ‘swell looker’. The biink team wants to further extend the use of our name so that it applies to the feeling as much as the look of our brand. Biink should be an expression synonymous with an immense feeling of greatness, power, extreme joy or excellence. Everyone should be feeling biink! Who are we? We’re biink! And hopefully soon, you will be too! Biink is a new Australian fashion brand, specializing in athleisure wear. Our team at Biink believes that the design of clothing is not enough. It is key to provide emotion through material. Customers deserve more from a brand, and biink will deliver. Our growing range will provide a feeling when wearing our clothing as much as a look. The biink team wants people to feel comfortable and stylish at the same time. For so long, particularly men, have felt they weren’t able to meet a friend and have lunch in trackies and a clean cut T. Well now they can, and they’ll look biink doing it too! Our first launch is directly targeting male consumers. We believe the men’s market in Australia has been highly neglected and will focus on gaining a loyal customer base before turning our attention to women’s wear in 2016. What is Athleisure? The name Athleisure was created in 2014, as a need for a word to describe the specific look, a combination of both athletic and leisure appeal, became a necessity. Finally, a year later, a brand has been created to describe Athleisure! We can’t wait for the future! Biink is planning on releasing several new items on a seasonal basis. Catering for the mood of the market. This coming summer Australia will eagerly be anticipating biink’s new shorts and fitted T’s! Biink will give customers a sneak peek in mid November!
