About Bill Gibbons Studio

I’m a painter with over 25 years experience doing projects for public and private spaces. I’m used to working with architects, designers and community representatives to come up with designs which harmonize with the surrounding space and satisfy the diverse needs of all the people involved. My work is realistic and narrative, telling stories that engage the public. The murals are painted on canvas in the studio and installed like wall paper directly on the walls. They are finished with multiple layers of varnish that render them tough, durable and easy to clean. They can be made any size and either cut to fit the architectural setting exactly, or framed to set them apart. I prepare careful renderings of proposed designs for approval and understand how to listen to input to create murals that satisfy the people who will be living with them. My work expresses ideas that can be immediately grasped by the public, that engage their interests and reward repeated viewing. No one ends up scratching their head after viewing my work. Its message is clear and the style is straightforward.
