About Binghamton Upcycle Project
Founded in 2023, The Binghamton Upcycle Project was created to increase awareness about recycling and turn recyclables into grants for environmental organizations. With the help of volunteers, we collect cans and bottles from special "B-UP" designated campus recycling bins, clean them, and bring them to local recycling centers to receive deposit refunds. We then allocate these funds collected to a grant to which student-led environmental initiatives can apply.
