Founded in the City of Philadelphia in 1931 – where our Corporate Headquarters remains – by visionary Frank G. Binswanger, Sr. in the midst of the Great Depression, Binswanger proudly stands in its fourth generation of family ownership and operation – a status that continues to set us apart. Now led by recognized industry leaders, David R. Binswanger is President and Chief Executive Officer and Binswanger International Ltd. is headed by Frank G. Binswanger, III. Binswanger has steadily and successfully grown from one office into a global real estate force. Foreseeing the trend of real estate shifting into the Southeast in the 1950’s, Binswanger began its expansion with the launch of our Southern Division in Charlotte, NC. Continuing its growth throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s, Binswanger moved into the Midwest and Western United States and we now operate 36 offices covering the entire United States. Having earned a reputation of national real estate authorities, Binswanger began to expand internationally in the 1990’s and has set up premier real estate organizations throughout the world. Binswanger provides a single source of cross-border real estate services. That, in addition to our acute familiarity of local markets, enables us to best serve our clientele on a global scale. Today’s changing business environment has extended the movement among major corporations toward the outsourcing of real estate functions, and the formation of strategic alliances between corporations and service providers.
