The BioCV system is a solution that aims to improve transparency and efficiency in the livestock industry. It utilizes Bluetooth sensor ear tags for farm animals to collect and certify real-time data on each animal, which can be used to interact with peripherals such as automated scales and feeding protocols, and is persisted decentralized. This allows for a more efficient and accurate monitoring of the animals, as well as providing valuable information on the animal's physiological state and history. The ear tags can be easily scanned with a BioCV hand-held scanner or an Android mobile phone, obtaining the identity of the animal and the ability to write information to it. This allows for easy identification and tracking of the animals, as well as the ability to record and store information on the animal's history and physiology. The data collected is analyzed using neural networks and machine learning frameworks, which are powerful tools for detecting relevant physiological events in the life cycle of the animals, such as the exact time of heat, time of birth, diseases and sickness, physiological harms and stress level of the animal. This provides valuable information on the animal and improves the farm's work structure. Additionally, the neural networks and machine learning frameworks can be used to make predictions and statements on the physiological condition of the animals, enabling the detection of potential issues before they occur, and allowing for proactive action to be taken.
