Biological Research on the Brain (BRB) is an independent multidisciplinary research organization that works for underprivileged students and develops research culture in Bangladesh. It was founded on January 13, 2024, by Md. Tarikul Islam and Md. Aktaruzzaman. The principal investigator (PI) of BRB is Dr. Md. Obayed Raihan who is an assistant professor of Pharmaceutical sciences at Chigaco State University, Illinois, USA. At BRB, our mission is to unlock the mysteries of biology and beyond through cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of computational neuroscience, behavioral neuroscience, molecular neuroscience, molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, pharmacology, biochemistry, microbiology, bioinformatics, computational chemistry, machine learning, and data science. Our team of researchers and innovators work tirelessly to pioneer new methodologies, develop innovative technologies, and generate novel insights that advance our understanding of biology and its intricate functions of organisms. We aim to decipher the fundamental mechanisms underlying neurological disorders, cognitive processes, and cellular interactions through rigorous experimentation, computational modeling, and data analysis.
