About BIOPLA

Biopla is a Belgian brand that provides bio sourced solutions all over Europe. Founded in 2014, Biopla quickly became an important player on the market of bio-based products, offering new and innovative alternatives to the classic fossil-oil based plastics. The aim was to actively participate in the reduction of CO2 emission and facilitate the so needed “ecological-transition” of our customers. The products Biopla offers are either made of PLA, Bagasse, Kraft Paper (FSC certified), Recycled Paper, Bambou and Palm, and many others (such as MaterBi, Bio-PE, etc.). Biopla has now three focus: - Distributors of disposable/reusable products, Biopla services mostly to the food sector, whether it is private or public entities, such as hospitals, university restaurants, schools, cities, etc. - Innovation & Product Design, as Biopla strives to service its clients with the best solutions available on the market, we constantly look for new raw materials, products and partners, in order to fill their needs. Our worldwide network of partners allows us to lead such collaboration to successful solutions. - Consultancy & Project Management, Biopla is now able to offer its expertise and accompany its customers throughout their ecological transition. We work together with various national and international specialists to find the right solution (design, raw materials, etc.). Biopla therefore offers a complete service, from A to Z, to examine whether a project is technically feasible and at what price. The final decision as to its ecological and economic feasibility can then be made on the basis of the report provided. All the Biopla products are biobased, certified by the competent bodies (TUV Austria, FSC) and follow the EU norm EN13432.
