Birdhouse Fly Away is a grass root 501c3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to assisting young people between the ages of 18- 26 to overcome obstacles retaining employment and stability. We are on a mission to offer a comprehensive program that incorporates life skills education, real world paid job experience, and supportive services to help break down barriers to success and give them the support they need to reach their full potential. THE MISSION is to disrupt generational sequences of circumstantial failure, by opening the mindsets of underserved young people and bring untapped potential to heights. THE VISION is to dismantle systematic based living and thinking by empowering and recharging the minds of participants through mentorship, life and workforce skill building and support. In the end, feeding them a skill set they develop to recognize so that they may become self-sufficient and on a direct flight to upward mobility in whichever is in their path. Why do we do what we do? Statistically, various minority groups are at an alarmingly high rate of systematic oppression, incarceration, recidivism, disconnection from home, school, work and facing other high limitations. Without opportunities to grow one's mental strength and create generational success for all, these groups will continue to stay trapped in strained circumstances. Birdhouse intends to rend that sequence.
