Founded in 2003 as an R&D and patent consultancy services company, thanks to the commitment and long experience of Dr. Tiberio Bruzzese in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and APIs industry, Bixio Consulting srl is currently engaged in developing its own projects. A MUCH-IMPROVED OMEGA-3 PURIFICATION METHOD WITH PATENT PROTECTION IN EUROPE, USA, JAPAN AND CHINA. The technology, based on urea complexes, applies very well to the ethyl esters form (pharmaceutical use), but can be easily transesterified to glycerides (often preferred for supplements). The new step to add is very simple, easy to scale up, reproducible and inexpensive, giving also very high yields. It can easily be included into the standard route of production. No special equipment is needed. The end result is a highly concentrated, highly purified, colorless and odorless oil. With these characteristics, the product is placed in the very high end of the quality range. Due to its demonstrated remarkable toxicological results, the product can be attractive for all the therapeutic indications cited in the literature, even more so when prolonged use or a high dosage is recommended. Extremely low levels of oxidative compounds, make the product of a superior quality that can be exploited in various delivery applications. We are looking for companies interested in the project. In partnership with Hiantis srl, we have developed a new proprietary formulation, based on clodronate, vitamin D and benzyl alcohol, which is being registered for the Italian market.
