Bixteth Partners is a boutique advisory firm founded to take advantage of the changing dynamics of the UK smaller company fundraising model - which is being accelerated by Mifid II. The partners have identified a clear un-met demand for independent, impartial advice to management teams and/or owners of smaller companies. Bixteth Partners seeks to provide timely advice and facilitate the introduction of capital to enable companies fulfil their growth potential.The founders have over 50 years’ experience of the UK capital markets, with expertise across the leisure, consumer and real estate sectors combined with a geographic bias towards the north west of England, the UK’s fastest growing region outside of London and the south east. Andrew Saunders has 25 years of capital markets experience spanning several industry sectors with particular specialisms in Real Estate and Consumer Goods. He has worked at leading firms including Hoare Govett, Charterhouse, HSBC, Numis, Panmure Gordon and Cenkos. He was also finance director of EPRA – a European real estate organisation for two years. He has worked in Liverpool, London and Brussels. Simon French has been an equity research analyst for 13 years specialising in the Leisure & Gaming sector where he was ranked number one in the 2011 Extel Survey. He has worked at firms including Numis, UBS, Panmure Gordon and latterly Cenkos where he established and was head of the group’s Liverpool office. He worked in industry for Whitbread for five years and is a shareholder and director of Chop’d. Guy Briselden has over 24 years’ experience in the City, having worked for firms including BZW, CSFB, Dresdner Kleinwort and Cenkos. He has worked as an equity salesman and corporate broker and has a broad range of sector knowledge including oil and gas, mining, logistics, fintech and digital sectors. Guy graduated from Durham University and served in the British Army for seven years.
