About Biz Radio
How we came to be Biz Radio In 1992, Dan and Elisea Frishberg realized conflicts of interest worked for nobody. They wanted to be able to pass on Dan’s lifetime of knowledge, but the whole structure of commissions and sales put the student and the teacher on opposite teams. They knew that many brokers just use advisory services as a marketing gimmick to facilitate their commissions and brokerage, continuing to use their position of trust to represent the interests of the sellers. But Dan and Elisea pioneered a completely different concept. They eliminated 100% of commissions from the business. Dan decided to work only on the buyer’s side, never on the seller’s side. Launching the Network In September of 2004, Dan determined that owning his own radio operation would be a sure-fire way to support the direct link to his audience that has been his life’s work. To his good fortune, the broadcast industry was in flux, and his timing was absolutely perfect. Within a few short months, he put together the investments necessary and gathered a team of investment, business and radio professionals to create The BizRadio Network. The flagship station, BizRadio1320 (now 1110AM) in Houston, debuted in the early part of 2005. Within a few months, the operation expanded to Dallas, and in early 2009 debuted in San Antonio as well. Continued expansion to additional U.S. cities is currently being devised Biz Radio is expanding our cities to reach more listeners.
