BJC offers a complete range of Architectural Services from pre-design and site selection through to post occupancy services. In addition, BJC performs existing building assessments and audits, site planning and selection, building code analysis and facility master planning services. BJC architects + assocs. inc. was originally established in 1967 as Karl Briestensky Architect. In the following years and with the addition of partners Barry Johnson and Paul Critchley, the firm changed its name to reflect the addition of Barry and Paul to the firm. Briestensky Johnson and Critchley Architects was shortened to BJC architects inc. in 1999. Our approach to architecture embodies the principles of contemporary design as a means to create, modify, and improve spaces through innovative, efficient and aesthetic solutions to our clients' needs. Contextual sensitivity, a clear understanding of technology and materials, as well as a keen awareness of cost and function, are some of our design strengths.
