Today I realized the focus is not selling clothes. The focus is being a leader in the community. Not from bravado assertion. Rather accompany and show the way that is most prominent. I’ve been doing to much. I was trying to sell lots of clothing while charging to little because I wanted the clothes to be “affordable”. I lost more money than I made at times. Corporate sales taught me not to sell how you buy. I failed to beat the concept. Ppl will pay for what they connect with. I also stared my online store in the middle of lockdowns. Shipping and inventory was difficult to maintain. While focus of the brand was never for the money. It was for a movement. I started Blac Billionaire after the death of George Floyd. It was made to impress a new mindset. Fashion speaks louder than words. Instead of protesting I got creative. I’m going to offer 1 to 2 designs Q1-Q2. Im switching the angle of how I do business. I will align the brand back to shinning light on community and let the clothing be a byproduct of it. You are my team. I do everything from the designs to the shipping.
