About Black Girls Mental Health Foundation
The Black Girls Mental Health Foundation, founded by three Black mothers and clinicians, is dedicated to improving postpartum mental health for Black women and birthing individuals by addressing systemic barriers. Through our BIRTH Network, we connect families to Black providers, including therapists, doulas, and wellness experts, while integrating wearable technology for comprehensive care. Since 2024, we've served 127 families, provided 660 hours of therapy (40% at reduced cost), and launched a Clinical Birth Worker Internship Program to train the next generation of culturally competent providers. Join us in creating a future where Black mothers feel safe, heard, and supported.
