About Black Mental Space
Black Mental Space is a social service organization aimed toward empowering women and removing the mental health stigma in the black community. Black women have been conditioned to remain strong for others while having no one to be strong for them. They tend to sacrifice their self-care for the sake of others’ well-being. Our mission is to address the need for acceptance and action regarding the mental health of black women. Together, we can break traumatic cycles.
