Black Professionals Association Charitable Foundation (BPACF) Mission, Vision, and Values Mission: BPACF creates opportunities for African American professionals through scholarships, leadership, and career development. Vision: To be a catalyst that develops emerging professionals, celebrates leaders, and elevates our community. About BPACF Founded in 1985 as the charitable arm of the Black Professionals Association (est. 1978), BPACF ensures African Americans in Northeast Ohio access higher education and career opportunities. We provide scholarships, leadership training, and professional networking while honoring outstanding professionals. In 2025, BPACF celebrates 47 years of service, promoting education through scholarships, internships, and professional development. With corporate and individual support, we have awarded nearly $3.8 million in scholarships to over 1,000 students. Over the past 11 years, we have provided scholarships and career development for 300+ African American college students. In 2024, we awarded our 1,013th scholarship. BPACF Focus Areas BPACF’s strategic plan focuses on expanding service to Northeast Ohio’s African American community by increasing career development opportunities, engaging emerging professionals, and encouraging young talent to remain in the region. Key Focus Areas: Scholarship & Programs – Financial support and career readiness. Networking & Professional Development – Mentorship, internships, and skill-building. Professional Awards & Recognition – Honoring excellence in the community.
