Black Trans Lives Thrive (BTLT) is a giving circle supporting nonprofits run by and for Black Trans Leaders. Members donate at least $25 each month. We kicked off in June 2020, aiming to cover operating costs for Black Trans-led organizations so (instead of fundraising) they could focus on being powerful support systems in their local communities and steering the movement toward equitable rights and resources for Black Trans people. What started as a small effort among friends has grown into a nationwide network of community members and allies supporting Black Trans-led organizations, every month.
