About Blackfriary Archaeology Field School
We are a teaching and research archaeology field school and community heritage project situated at the Blackfriary Archaeological Site in Trim, Co . Meath. We provide expert led training courses in excavation, post-excavation, bioarchaeology and survey. Our aim is to promote and preserve this heritage site through archaeological investigation, research and community engagement. Our goal is to transform the Blackfriary site into a sustainable amenity for tourist and local community alike.
