Blackhawk Family Development Center was founded by Dr. Serena Mazzola and has been providing therapeutic services in Danville, CA and the surrounding areas since 2014. Our clinics focus on providing treatment that goes beyond symptom relief by building relationships and supporting the entire family system. Our office is designed to feel like home with therapy programs customized to the unique needs of our clients. We are focused on hiring clinicians who are the best at what they do. Our clinics provide a wide array of services to help support all parts of the family system from psychological testing to individual, family, couples, and group therapy. We provide comprehensive testing that identifies the strengths of the person as well as areas of need with recommendations on how best to support each person’s area of need. We fundamentally believe that each person can achieve happiness and that happiness can be cultivated through internal resiliency. All of our services are steeped in family systems, strength-based, and solution-focused approach. Our team utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques including but not limited to CBT, DBT, ABFT, and EMDR.
