About Blagrove Underwriting Agency
BUA launched its new underwriting facility in December 2017 and currently our principal backers are Accredited Insurance (UK) Ltd. Accredited carry an A- rating from A M Best, and other leading financial rating agencies. They operate in both New York and London and are one of the leading insurance companies who support underwriting agencies in the USA, UK and Europe. In addition to Accredited we are also supported by SCOR SE UK Branch who are one of the world’s leading reinsurers and carry an A+ rating. BUA underwrites across a broad spectrum of fleet risks from Haulage to SME mini-fleet. Our approach is to look at each risk on its merits and to offer the best possible price with the best possible claims service. Our distinguishing feature will be our service and our willingness to be flexible when required. As a small insurer, we can offer these rare qualities to our brokers and clients - but because we are supported by financially strong companies, we can compete with the larger insurers without fear. We operate our own claims service so brokers and clients have only one point of contact - and you will be in the hands of a very experienced and knowledgeable team from the outset of the claim. Insurance is a “people’s business” and we believe we have the right people to serve our brokers and clients in the way they would expect to be served and supported.
