Blakmint was born from the personal experience of an orthodontic patient who struggled to find effective tools to clean aligners and retainers. Traditional toothbrushes, designed for teeth, simply couldn't reach the intricate grooves of these devices. Faced with this challenge, our CEO took matters into her own hands and designed the revolutionary Blakmint Aligner Brush. This innovative brush is not only perfect for aligners but also compatible with grind guards, teeth whitening trays, sports mouthguards, and gum shields. With intellectual property secured in over 30 countries, we are excited to announce our USA launch in October 2024. In August, we are unveiling our comprehensive Aligner Care Package, featuring a concentrated liquid cleaner that is clinically proven to be reusable for up to 7 days. This cleaner effectively eliminates MRSA, bacteria, and hardened biofilm and is free from persulphates unlike denture tablets. All our medical devices are regulated by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and carry the UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) mark.
