About Blankets For Cancer

BLANKETS FOR CANCER is an 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based out f Kirkland, Washington, United States who's primary aim is to reduce suffering in pediatric cancer patients and their families. Founded in 2016, after the loss of our dear Jordan Avi Rinde at 5 years old to pediatric cancer (Neuroblastoma), Blankets For Cancer has provided over $100,000 in support to pediatric cancer patients and their families. Through our network of pediatric cancer facilities and social workers in the United States, we are brought to families and individuals who need support. Economic, psychological , and physical fragility is predominant in the Pediatric Cancer population due to the need for parents to leave work to attend to their child's treatment which often lasts 2-5 years. Not only are the families facing the tremendous terror of facing cancer but they are also faced with the threat of poverty. We aim to help improve secondary outcomes such as emotional health, physical health, and overall well being through treatment.
