About blendVET®

What if every veterinary professional truly felt like they belonged? That bold question sparked the creation of blendVET®—a culture-forward certification and pathway program built by veterinary professionals, for the veterinary profession. It began in 2020 when Dr. Niccole Bruno spoke to over 800 students nationwide. Their response made one thing clear: the profession needed to evolve. That conversation became the catalyst for something bigger—blendVET. Today, we create belonging in veterinary medicine by Building, Leading, Educating, Navigating, and Diversifying the profession—driving measurable impact across people, pets, and practices. Since launch, we’ve lead the profession forward: • 2021: Introduced the first culture-forward lectures at a national conference • 2022: Released the only veterinary-curated, RACE-approved curriculum in inclusive leadership and cultural competency • 2023: Partnered with NAVC to launch Youth Pathways at VMX • Now: Over 600 students reached and counting Our three pillars—Youth Pathways, Education Pathways, and Partner Pathways—equip academic institutions, veterinary hospitals, and industry leaders with the tools to strengthen teams from classrooms to clinics. Through certification programs, workshops, and real-world learning experiences, blendVET® builds confident leaders who cultivate: • Healthier workplace cultures • Better pet patient outcomes • Sustainable practice growth Because when veterinary professionals feel seen, heard, and valued—the entire profession thrives.
