OSHeN's Manufacturing: There are four parts to our Bamboo/Span Manufacturing System and Merino/Span Manufacturing: Hebei Jigao - largest state-run bamboo processing plant in Southern China All of our raw bamboo and sourcing come from Hebei Jigoa, and they do not source in rain forests so they are always environmentally friendly and are careful not to engage in deforestation. They have two patented machines one is created specifically for the pulping of the bamboo that relates directly to the pulping process. All chemicals used for creating the bamboo viscose are recovered, recycled, and reused, it is a fully closed-loop system. Jigao then takes viscose and spins it into yarn, this is when it is transported to our Bamboo knitting, heat setting, and dye factory - Bambro Tex. Bambro Tex- largest state-run bamboo knit dye and finishing mill in Southern China It is responsible for our yarn knitting, dyeing, and heat setting and finishing. This is where we create all of our fabrics using various yarn sizes. Bambro Tex is certified OEKO which classifieds it as chemical-free with the highest product safety standards. All of the dyes used for dyeing and printing the fabrics are Fiber Reactive Non-Toxic dyes Xinao – Philip Shen is at the helm of this wool finishing and dyeing plant. He grew up at the family mill (Xinao), studied abroad and then became a consummate professional in the wool industry. Xinao is listed on the A-share market in wool textile specializing in the making, wool spinning, and finishing of wool. Xinao founded The knitwear Development Center cofounded by Xinao and The Woolmark Company whose merino wool comes from Australia. They pride themselves on enterprising innovation and providing a hub for research in wool textiles.
