About Bleu Danube

Bleu Danube is a visual experiment, a living platform, creating walk paths between different disciplines with classical music as its central point. Our aim is to create and develop an interest and passion for classical music where there is none. Amongst all generations and across all social boundaries in order to reach as large a public as possible. We are an audiovisual label, closely working with a number of select collaborators (directors, writers, photographers, musicologists, …) who share and understand this vision and will to democratize classical music. It is important to comprehend that music is, and will always, remain the main protagonist. Image must only be a necessary tool to embellish, broaden and reinforce its potential in terms of narrative power. That is the reason why the storytelling dimension of this project can only take place with the right choice of compositions as well as the interpretations that make them come to life. Respecting the integrity and essence of music and reconnect it to its lively, modern, down to earth and often revolutionary nature.
