Blinktime makes hybrid and flexible working, work. It is a calendar plug-in for coordinating where and when people are working which sits directly within Microsoft, Google and Slack, working seamlessly within employees’ day-to-day tools. The ‘where’ helps people see who’s going into the office so they can plan their attendance to coordinate with colleagues and desk space. The ‘when’ gives people guilt-free, pre-sanctioned flexitime within parameters set by the business. There’s data for the company on all of it, which is not readily available on other platforms, and is an industry first as a holistic ‘flexible work’ tool. The tool itself provides employees with informal flexibility, pre-sanctioned by the company, which is invaluable in empowering staff to take breaks without feeling guilty.
