Foot massages are delicious, and totally worth their reputation of being relaxing, restorative and really nice to have! Therapeutic Reflexology however, takes the humble foot massage to a whole new level. Therapeutic reflexology treatments use meridian therapy to unblock ch'i (Qi), bringing the body back to a state of homeostasis. While my time is valuable, I focus on the treatment and patient, not on the clock. A lot of my patients have appreciated this. As a health practitioner, I find it is important to give patients the space and time to unwind. Often a reflexology session opens one up emotionally, and this is where respect and understanding are key elements of a good therapist. During a reflexology treatment, we can discuss meridian imbalances, or you can close your eyes and drift away while the treatment works at restoring homeostasis to the body and mind. Either way, always remember that the treatment is taking care of you....and always drink water after a session.
