About Bloom Educational Courses
Bloom provides courses and workshops for teachers and their students to bring the natural world into everyday living and learning, within the existing curriculum. Why does nature matter in secondary education? It benefits young people's health and well-being so they are more engaged in lessons. It expands their minds and encourages responsibility for their environment. It works according to certain principles; these provide a framework within which values for everyday life can be developed. The principles include concepts such as interdependence, diversity and cycles. All subjects can be viewed through the novel lens of nature's principles. We have developed courses and workshops in English and PSHE so far.
