We are concentrated, long-term, value investors. We construct our portfolio with a relatively limited number of companies to focus our research. We view short-term price volatility as opportunity, not risk, and seek to exploit time arbitrage – the investment community’s obsession with short term returns. We have found that over a five-year plus time horizon, owning good businesses at low valuations and patiently waiting for the market to recognize their value has been a profitable strategy. BloombergSen manages the wealth of individuals, families, endowments, foundations, and pension funds. A significant portion of the assets managed include those of the firm’s Principals.
